We realize you have worked very hard over the last years that are few all of those challenging courses, getting involved with numerous extracurriculars, taking on leadership positions, etc. And, you are truly working quite difficult now on your university applications. You might feel very tempted to put off your school work in favor of other, more exciting opportunities (senior ditch day, anybody?) But trust us, now could be not the right time to slack off. You attended this far, and you want to make sure you finish strong. And not simply on your own peace of mind, you have your own internal motivations though we do hope. Realistically, though, exactly what will probably motivate you most to keep those year that is senior up is just a little something called the Mid-Year Report. The Mid-Year Report is a Common form that must be submitted by your therapist after very first semester year that is senior become available. Our office takes these grades into account, and expects that the trend in your grades will carry on. That means that if you were earning high grades before, there’s absolutely no explanation those As shouldn’t be reflected on your Mid-Year Report. And while we’re in the topic, senioritis just isn’t an excuse to allow your second-semester senior year grades slip, either. We’ll be sent a transcript that is final your high college, and certainly will ensure that those grades are intact, too. As always, we reserve the directly to rescind any admission decisions. These are typically added one at time and may not be added in PDF format. Iovine and Young Academy: Applicants are expected to submit an original video of only about a minute that illustrates an original idea for an innovative product, service or system that solves a problem, addresses a need, or provides an opportunity. In addition to this video, pupils may submit as much as 5 media files including visual images, motion graphics, original music recordings, poems, and essays. All of these elements should be uploaded to the Media tab within Slideroom. Architecture: Students can upload drawing, sketching, painting, graphic design, photography, video clip, web-design, sculpture, ceramics and furniture design project examples to the Media tab on Slideroom. The admission committee would like to see proof creativity. Up to 25 examples may be submitted. Cinematic Arts: Depending on this program to that the student applies, pupils must submit a personal statement, composing sample, creative profile list, reactions to brief response questions, and URLs in Slideroom.
